Kingston Launches First PC2 8500 Memory Quad Kits
Kingston Technology today announced it is first to produce 1066MHz DDR2 memory modules in quad-kit configurations.
Initially released under the Kingston HyperX brand, the innovative memory combination uses four 1GB modules, specifically designed to work together as a powerful 4GB environment, to support high performance processing demands.
Four gigabyte configurations are becoming increasingly popular in gaming and enthusiast applications, supporting both the Vista operating system and the high processing needs of games and sophisticated software.
Introducing a four gigabyte kit using four 1GB modules provides a low cost solution to consumers wanting the performance of a four gigabyte environment without the price tag.
The good thing about this memory is that the HyperX is backed by a lifetime warranty
