Sony Ericsson K800i - Review
Sony Ericsson K800i Mobile
Normally I am a stickler for upgrading my mobile contracts to only Nokia mobiles. How very close minded of me as once I spied the K800i I fell in love with it!! Not only did its looks outshine any of the current Nokia phones for me, but its features and camera also rated highly!
The menu system is so easy to use, which is one thing that always put me off getting any of the Sony mobiles. The screen resolution is amazing giving you crisp images whether you are browsing the internet, looking at pictures or just browsing through the menu.
The 3.2 mega pixel Cybershot camera, I believe, is the highest resolution you can get on the market at the moment on a mobile phone making it your right arm if you’re in need of taking a quick and extremely clear photo whilst out and about. It has made my life so much easier when needing to take down some information, as I will photograph it instead and zoom into the details I need when back at the office • its shocking how clear the pictures are!! One of the fun applications you get with this phone is FaceWarp, fantastic for warping a picture of someone and adding it to their contact details which will come up on the screen whenever they ring or text.
Included are your standard features: Bluetooth, IR, G3, GMS, etc. Battery life is very adaquate with 350 hours Standby time and approximately 7 hours talk time (2.5 hours UMTS). Memory can be upgraded wtih a Memory Stick MIcro (M2) with the phone already having 64MB installed. Weighing 115g with a size of 105x47x22mm it is small enough to put anywhere.
Verdict: Fantastic phone and one that I'm not already wanting to upgrade!! Well done Sony!!!
