eReader Servers Crash

It is no secret that Apple's servers have failed to meet the demand for the iPhone 3G launch day activation, but Cupertino aren't the only one suffering from this phenomena. Fictionwise, home of the eReader format also experienced the same thing as thousands of iPhone users impatiently tried to download all their past purchases simultaneously. Fictionwise is working on fine tuning the entire process over the weekend, but the current infrastructure is clearly inadequate to address such a massive load. I say if you happen to have an iPhone 3G, just wait for a week or two until the initial euphoria dies down for a smoother downloading process. That means avoid the 'Download Everything' button, but how many people will comply with such advice?
