DIY Home Laser Show

Lasers are pretty things to look at, but stare at one long enough and you'll end up with burned retinas which aren't too good by any means. The DIY home laser light show is meant for those too poor to get the proper entertainment equipment when throwing a party, but other than the fact that it won't burn a hole in your pocket, it won't do the same to your guests eyes either. This home-made laser visualizer does not move at timed intervals, but will instead groove according to the music playing in the background. It is basically constructed from a lab-style laser that is reflected off a mirror mounted to a speaker membrane, which in turn is diffracted via a grating for the multiple beam effect. Since music drives the speaker, the mirror will jitter to create one heck of a laser show.
