D-Link SecuriCam DCS-5610 Pan/Tilt/Zoom Network Camera

D-Link has just introduced yet another full-featured network surveillance camera known as the SecuriCam DCS-5610 Pan/Tilt/Zoom network camera. Meant to offer superior management over traditional closed-circuit television (CCTV) security cameras, the DCS-5610 was specially designed for whole-room monitoring of the home, office and small businesses. It can be configured to record video to a local Network Area Storage (NAS) device, with the schedule set at definite times throughout the day. In addition, it boasts an auto-start motion detector that sends you an email alert when triggered, while folks who tote around an Internet-ready mobile phone or PDA will be able to check out the live stream feeds - just make sure you're on an affordable data plan (preferably unlimited monthly) if you wish to check it out via these means. Other feature sinclude 2.6x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, SIP 2-way audio, and VGA resolution at 30 frames per second.
